KMLB (AM)

KMLB is an American radio station, based in Monroe, Louisiana, that began broadcasting in 1931 as North East Louisiana's first radio station. It broadcasts on 1440 kHz AM, a frequency that covers large parts of North Louisiana and South Arkansas.
The station currently has a talk radio format. It is an affiliate of the Fox News Radio Network, Fox Sports Radio Network, Premiere Radio Networks, and produces many local and statewide programs. The current schedule includes Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Matt Drudge, Kim Kommando, Moon Griffon, Greg Gulyas, Cory Crowe, Art Bell, George Noory and others. As of March 6, 2007, the station announced extensive programming changes, moving Rush Limbaugh to KNOE-AM and adding new programming. According to the news story, KMLB will be a more "general interest talk" station while KNOE will become the "political talk" station.
KMLB is owned by Holladay Broadcasting of Louisiana.
