KMFD CW 11, also known as "Southern Oregon's CW", is currently a CW Television Network affiliate based in Medford, Oregon. It was originally a "cable-only" station for The WB, which was then currently run by Chambers Communications, owners of KDRV in Medford and KDKF in Klamath Falls and does not have a transmitter.
Renard N. Maiuri, general manager of KDRV/KDKF, said, "It will transform itself into The CW when the station became The CW's digital subcarrier in September 2006. Although it will primarily be a "cable-only station", it will be seen on one of KTVL's digital channels. Still no transmitter or anything like that. It's delivered via satellite to the cable headend."
The CW Network launched on September 18, 2006, replacing the old WB and UPN networks.
