KLWN

KLWN (1320 kHz) is an American sports radio oriented AM radio station in Lawrence, Kansas at 1320 kHz on the AM dial. It began broadcasting on February 22, 1951, and was originally a daytime-only station.
It is the local radio carrier of the football and basketball teams at the University of Kansas.
KLWN and its sister station KLZR are owned and operated by Viking Communications, although the Federal Communications Commission lists the holder of the license as Jayhawk Broadcasting, Inc. The two stations were owned by Arden Booth until his death.
