KLSB-LP, UHF channel 53, is a low-powered NBC affiliate in Nacogdoches, Texas, controlled by Jacksonville NBC affiliate KETK.
At one time, KLSB was a complete simulcast of KETK, but that is no longer the case. KETK has modified KLSB's newscasts to have a local insert with news for the Nacogdoches/Lufkin area.
KLSB was originally on channel 19, but, with that channel being a full-powered allocation assigned by the FCC to KYTX, KLSB was moved to channel 53, close on the UHF dial to their sister station, KETK channel 56.
While KLSB covers Nacogdoches, Angelina, San Augustine, Cherokee and Shelby Counties, KLSB's signal, being low-powered, only covers the immediate Lufkin area, therefore requiring cable to view the channel outside of Lufkin. It is also available on cable through Cox and Suddenlink.
