[edit] Barnstar

The Original Barnstar
For contributing so much to Wikipedia without getting much back. Here's to you. Sharkface217 23:05, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

The Barnstar idea is a great one, but I do not believe it is implimented correctly. There are a select few Wikipedians who have many Barnstars (upwards of 5 or so) who do rightly deserve it while at the same time there are many, many more who have done as much or even more work and have recieved litte or no recognition.

The Barnstars I hand out in no way diminish from their original value and intent; for most I award, they are first-time Barnstar-earners. Sharkface217 23:11, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Server (computing) subtile vandalism

The user: Special:Contributions/209.161.234.118 is making subtile link change, for example on the server (computing) page he changed IBM Sun, etc servers links to Fiber-host.com link on the External links section, without renaming the visible link label(hence the use of 'subtile' adjective). When i checked his contributions, I found out he did the same shit on another page, please if you know some admin, let them know, this guy should really be warned.!!!!--SamiKaero 12:43, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for your opinion

Hey there. As the founder of Wikiproject Web Animation I was wondering if you would have an opinion to share on the deletion nomination for Knox's upcoming film. Vote what you think is right (there are some good arguments pro and con) - I'm simply concerned that there aren't very many people on there making the decision. Esn 21:28, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chilly Beach

Hi...when you add an infobox to a television series airing on the CBC, could you please link to CBC Television as the network rather than just CBC? "CBC" alone is a disambiguation page listing numerous meanings of the word; we have to specifically link to CBC Television when we mean the TV network, CBC Radio One or CBC Radio Two when we mean the radio networks, or Canadian Broadcasting Corporation when we mean the corporation as a whole. Thanks. Bearcat 07:53, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ed Stelmach

Hello KC4. In the Premiers of Alberta box you added to the article, you should put next to Stelmach's name (Designate). The new Alberta PC Leader, has yet to become Premier of Alberta. Ralph Klein is still Premier until Ed Stelmach assumes the premiership. GoodDay 18:04, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Approved for AWB!

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. I have approved your request and you should now be able to use the AWB application. Be sure to check every edit before you save it, and don't forget to check out the AWB Guide. You can get any help you need over on the AWB talk page. Feel free to contact me with any questions, Alphachimp 03:05, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Infobox defunct company.

Hi. The changes you made produced errors. I've reverted in the mean time. Perhaps you could try to fix the issue if you wish to add the new features. Thanks Mark83 21:39, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Red Dwarf Rogue.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Red Dwarf Rogue.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:09, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Lenny Loosejocks Neptune.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Lenny Loosejocks Neptune.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:12, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

I notice that there are quite a few screenshot images on Lenny Loosejocks that are not being used in an article. You should either write an article or have the images deleted, as fair use images need to be linked to an article or they should be deleted. Cheers! Royalbroil T : C 02:51, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Spam warning

The reason I did that was because the page has a commercial link on it. I think it'd be best if that link was deleted, as it has no significance to the content of the page. Nwwaew (Talk Page) (Contribs) (E-mail me) 03:56, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Totseicon.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Totseicon.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] AfD nomination of My Opera Community

An editor has nominated My Opera Community, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/My Opera Community and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Abu Bedali has nominated the template Template:User no GFDL for deletion at Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion/Log/2007_February_3. If you want it to stay please share your thoughts on the matter. Thanks.--CyberGhostface 01:53, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] XEvil images

I noticed that you uploaded most of the images related to XEvil and significantly expanded the article. Since it was revised, however, many of those images are no longer necessary. Would you mind if I nominated the orphaned ones for deletion at IFD? --Iamunknown 20:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Addendum: I've listed the XEvil images for deletion at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Thanks. :) Iamunknown 03:18, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
