[edit] Trivia section

This article did have a lot of nonsense in it when originally created (e.g. "A typical Klippan Sofa. This one belongs to Chris Owens, a twenty something." as a caption) and a lot of "original research". I'm wondering about the accuracy of the "trivia facts" which are unsourced - does anyone have a source for these? CLW 13:01, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

No? In that case I'll remove 'em. If you can source them, please do so and revert. CLW 16:56, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Naming again

It is again stated that the sofan Klippan is named after Klippan Municipality. The Sunday Herald says that Klippan means "rock" in Swedish aswell as being the name of a town in southern Sweden. This is both true, but it does not mean one should draw the conclusion that the sofa was named after the municipality.

The Kuwait newspaper firmly claims that Klippan was named after a Swedish city. But on what factual ground? The articles gives no references.

None of those articles seem reliable to me.

Maybe this helps: [1]. It references a translation of a German article. Yomangani 13:08, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
That was interesting. Didn't know that. It would probably be good to mention it in the article so that no-one else wonders. / Fred-Chess 19:38, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
