Talk:Klez (computer worm)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I removed the following text from this article:
- Microsoft will never send an executable over the Internet without your specific instruction and therefore knowledge. It is bad practice for a technical support representative to send you an executable without somehow ensuring that you can't accidentally execute the code without getting in touch with him/her for further instructions.
This seems like opinion text and it doesn't add to the strength of the (otherwise fine) article.
Additionally, this was left in as a commented-out piece of text in this article:
- <!-- It's apparently not "going strong" any longer, is there any evidence for it prevaling longer than usual?
- Unlike previous worms such as Sircam, which were quickly squelched, Klez is still going strong. -->
It probably best belongs here, too. 64.16.181.63 02:21, 7 May 2005 (UTC)
