KlezKanada

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KlezKanada is a yearly Klezmer music and Yiddish culture festival that takes place at the end of August at Camp B'Nai Brith, a Jewish children's camp North of Montreal. Participants come from across Canada and the United States, as well as Europe and Israel, to immerse themselves in a week of Klezmer music and Yiddish language. Many scholars and lifelong musicians attend the festival and give courses on a variety of topics related to the genre.
