Klempen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Klempen is the antonym of plenken. While a plenk is a wrongly added blank before a punctuation mark, klempen means omitting blanks after punctuation marks. It is a German expression which is often used in German newsgroups, but rarely ever in English ones. The word is derived by changing the p and the k in plenken.

Examples:

  • I am klemping, this makes the text less readable. But well, this is only an example.
  • I'm fine,thanks.How are you?Are you still ill?
