KKOL is located in Seattle, WA, operating on 1300 kHz with a power of 5,000 watts. The FCC has granted a construction permit for the station to operate with 50,000 watts daytime and 47,000 watts nighttime.

The station features conservative talk show hosts, such as Hugh Hewitt and Dennis Prager.

The original call letters were KOL (which were the letters used during its days as a Top 40 station), which changed to KMPS (featuring a country/western format), then later to KKOL.
