KJR, branded as "Sports Radio 950 KJR", is an all-sports radio station based in Seattle, Washington, broadcasting on 950 in the AM radio spectrum, and is owned by Clear Channel Communications. KJR currently is the flagship station of the Women's National Basketball Association's Seattle Storm, and also serves as the flagship station of the Washington ISP Sports Network, the network that covers University of Washington Huskies sports.
Starting in the 2006-2007 season, ISP Sports will be the media rights holder for Husky athletics. KJR will remain the Washington ISP Sports Network's flagship station for football and men's basketball games thru the 2010-2011 season.
KJR carries some play-by-play from ESPN Radio, but has none of the regular talk shows.
Originally, KJR was a pioneer Top 40 radio station owned by entertainer Danny Kaye. In the 1960's under the programming guidance of Pat O'Day, the station was top rated in Seattle and well known for introducing the Pacific Northwest to many recording stars such as Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles and the Ventures.

KJR is the oldest station presently operating in Seattle, having been founded March 9, 1922.
It was the number one top 40 station in Seattle during the 1960's and the 1970's.
KJR served as the home of the Seattle SuperSonics from 1987-2006.
