[edit] Poly

Actually if you look at many of the prominent educational institutions in the country's wikipedia page, there is alot more information covered, including--Athletics, Traditions, allusions to the school in Literature, Film, and Popular Culture, and Co-Curricular Activites (Including Student Government). There is alot more information to add to the poly page and I'm sorry you were "shot down," but thats not in the spirit of what wikipedia is, and you are just hypocritically "wikitripping" (powertripping on wikipedia) like the user who shot you down. Just a refresher: "Respect other contributors. Wikipedia contributors come from many different countries and cultures, and have widely different views. Treating others with respect is key to collaborating effectively in building an encyclopedia. Respect your fellow Wikipedians even when you may not agree with them."

[edit] H-W

Harvard-Westlake was originally two separate schools, and Harvard School for Boys was founded as a military school in 1900.[1]+[2] Let me know if you need more info! jengod 07:27, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Apprentice

Hey, thanks for tackling some of the descriptions on The Apprentice page. It's something I've been meaning to do, but I'm currently wrapped up in a bunch of Olympics stuff. Sue Anne 02:12, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Paw Print

It was from a previously deleted article that reappeared. I merged it rather than bother with AfD again. - Randwicked Alex B 06:19, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alito nomination page

At the talk page linked here, you will find a brief comment on your addition of the information apropos of Senators Snowe and Collins to the "Neutral" section; I hope that, if you are not in accord with my reverting your edit, you will give your views, and, in any case, will comment, if interested, on the chart I propose. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Polysc2.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Polysc2.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 01:04, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Request for edit summary

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 15% for major edits and 21% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 19 minor edits in the article namespace.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 05:50, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kiwidude is rude

I'm sorry, who died and made you lord of the poly wikipedia? You say you don't like demeaning users, however your response to my edit WAS demeaning. What authority do you hold over poly's wikipedia? I was just working on growing the history and culture of the poly community. Please take your liberal BS, and go rug munch a Harvard Ph.D disertation...lord knows you should have more important things then powertripping over wikipedia. 10:28, April 22, 2006 Bck113

[edit] Ancient Greek Wikisource

I understand from your userboxes you're interested in Ancient Greek. I've submitted a proposal to add an Ancient Greek Wikisource on Meta, and I'd be very grateful if you could assist me by either voting in Support of the proposal, or even adding your name as one of the contributors in the template. (NB: I'm posting this to a lot of people, so please reply to my talkpage or to Meta) --Nema Fakei 20:19, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup Templates

I noticed that you recently applied an improperly formatted cleanup template. I have fixed the template, but felt I should tell you that it needed to be replaced. You can find a list of properly formatted cleanup templates here. Please note that it is never appropriate to substitute a cleanup tag.

Thank you very much for your contributions to Wikipedia. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Alphachimp talk 23:24, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:1-inchoaktree.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:1-inchoaktree.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 14:07, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

I am curious: how did you become interested in the subject of The Harvard-Westlake School? (-Non Curat Lex)
