[edit] Metro vs RB

KitHutch, I know it's Wikipedia policy and all to talk things out, but as someone who put into a great effort into maintaning the MetroStars page on this site (and will continute to maintain the RBNY page), I do not want to see the Metro page gobbled up and history re-written. I explained the reasons on the talk page already. The Metro page should remain, "frozen" in time. Much like the E'quakes page, although that situation is a bit different. [edit] Discussion Opening at talk:Martin Luther

FYI. This one should be fun -- and civil.--CTSWyneken 12:36, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RBNY vs NYRBs

I chimed in on Talk:Red Bull New York. Weird situation, I wish they'd stick to just one name (but then I wish they'd kept Metro... Let's hold off and see if one name sticks, for now I think RBNY is fine. DR31 (talk) 14:00, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Buffalo Springfield

You added the sentence "In the 1980s, he would appear on several of Young's Geffen-era records" to the paragraph about Bruce Palmer's post-Springfield activities. The placement of that sentence in the paragraph, however, makes it look like the "he" is Greg Reeves. If you are talking about Greg Reeves, then this article is probably not the right place for that information. On the other hand, if indeed you are referring to Palmer, I wonder if you would be so kind as to rewrite the paragraph so that your intent is clear even to those who aren't as familiar with the subject matter as you.

Thanks

[edit] Weird

There was never a National Alliance Soccer League!!!

I didn't ever hear of that before, but when I went to update the article that was already there... really weird. Thanks. Minfo 20:34, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Grohl was never a Heartbreaker

Please check out and discuss at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Tom_Petty#Dave_Grohl_as_a_Heartbreaker

[edit] Folk rock!

Allright, it is done - folk-rock is now folk rock. Not really necceassry but I am updating links that point link to folk-rock - maybe you can assist? I am also searching for folk-rock and wiki'ing them to "folk rock". Nice to see that civility produced a better product. Cheers. --Supercoop 15:02, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Red Donkeys"

As a fan, I see this as a real nickname for the team. It got started at the major RBNY fan site, is widely used by fans, etc. Also, it's catching on among fans of other teams. It's somewhat controversial, but it's definitely a "nickname". Maybe it's too new...what would be a reasonable period before it could be added as a nickname? Bill Oaf 03:49, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Theology of Martin Luther

In order to begin the process of reducing the size of the Martin Luther article, I've begun this article to allow a detailed disucssion of Luther's theology. If you have a moment, I would appreciate your help in editing this article so that it fulfills that purpose. Thanks! --CTSWyneken(talk) 01:15, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] NE Revs away uniform

I uploaded a new template that allows for a white body with thin red stripes, whereas the previous template dictated black with no apparent allowance for input. There is probably a better way to do this, but the black is out for now. Bill Oaf 06:14, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Talk:Lutheranism and feeding the troll

I think that it might be advisable to ignore the Lutheran-baiting. Brennen 00:46, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] UMC Logo

Wikipedia does not allow "Used with permission" images but I think it can stay under fair use claim. Please read Wikipedia:Image use policy, thanks. BJTalk 22:46, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mark Pulisic

Thanks for removing my incorrect categorisation of the article Mark Pulisic. Rather than placing incorrectly categorised articles back in the uncategorised list, I suggest it might be more useful find a more appropriate category. Thanks. Gimboid13 07:32, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WP Lutheranism

You are invited to participate in Lutheranism WikiProject, a project dedicated to developing and improving articles about Lutheranism. We are currently discussing prospects for the project. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

[edit] = Canadian Soccer League

If you choose to list the old CSL first (point taken) the page should be set up like the Vancouver Whitcaps, with information on the current league on the right hand side in a template.
