Kitakata, Miyazaki

Kitakata (北方町 Kitakata-chō?) was a town located in Higashiusuki District, Miyazaki, Japan. On February 20, 2006, Kitakata was absorbed by the city of Nobeoka.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,838 and the density of 24.11 persons per km². The total area was 200.70 km².
