Kitabatake Tomonori

Kitabatake Tomonori (北畠具教, Kitabatake Tomonori, 1528-1576) was a renowned daimyo that governed Ise (located in the Mie Prefecture) of the late Sengoku period. It has also been said that Tomonori was a master of the Kashima Shinto-ryu style of swordsmanship who studied under Tsukahara Bokuden.
