Catherine "Kit" Hoover (born July 29, 1970 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American TV personality and broadcast journalist best known for her stints on the MTV reality series Road Rules (which debuted in 1995) and as hostess of the ESPN2 morning program Cold Pizza (2003-2005).

Kit joined Fox News in 1998 as a correspondent for Fox Broadcasting Company's newsmagazine FOX Files and also served as a correspondent for such shows as The Pulse and Celebrity Spotlight, the latter of which she also served as a co-host. Previously, she was a member of the inaugural season of MTV's Road Rules. Prior to her stint there, Hoover was featured on American Journal, concentrating on entertainment stories. She was also featured as the host of Showtime free preview weekend and served as their correspondent for the Evander Holyfield-Vaughn Bean championship fight. [1]

In 2003, Hoover left Fox News to host ESPN2's morning program Cold Pizza. In addition to her duties hosting Cold Pizza, she became a judge on ESPN's reality contest Dream Job. Her lack of a sporting background, judging abilities, performance, and credibility were heavily criticized by many sports and entertainment writers. In March 2005, she, along with Cold Pizza co-host Thea Andrews, were replaced by Dana Jacobson. Since then, Kit has appeared less on television and only covered tennis events for ESPN, such as Wimbledon and the French Open in 2005. After failing to agree on a new role for her, Hoover left ESPN in the latter half of 2005.

In 2006, Kit Hoover joined the TV Guide Channel as a correspondent.

A native of Atlanta, Hoover received a B.A. in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. She is married to producer Crowley Sullivan and has two children. [2]
