Kisschasy is a rock band from Melbourne, Australia. The band formed in 2002.

Three of the four members of Kisschasy grew up in the small country town of Balnarring in the Mornington Peninsula. Darren lived in Cranbourne. Joel, Sean & Karl played in local bands such as Tenpin, who achieved a little local success. Darren was playing in MxPx-style bands such as Pest Control and Josh Wins Again. A chance meeting between Darren Cordeux and bassist Joel Vanderuit at the 2002 Warped Tour led to the formation of Kisschasy. The band's original name was So Many Ways, named after a b-side by New Found Glory.

The quartet has been touring nationally for the last three years. They've released two EPs on indie label Below Par Records, and played alongside a host of Australian and International acts including Brand New, Gyroscope, Panic! at the Disco, Pennywise, Simple Plan & The Ataris. The bands debut singles were "Darkside" and "Reminder", taken from their debut album United Paper People,

The album was recorded and produced by Phillip McKellar, (Silverchair, Grinspoon) in Sydney over a couple of weeks in February 2005. The band then flew to Seattle in March to mix United Paper People with Barrett Jones, (Nirvana, Foo Fighters), sleeping on floors and dining on two minute noodles so that they could afford his help.

The first single was Do-Do's & Whoa-Oh's, with the single gaining heavy rotation on music channels and radio, both commercial and alternative. The band also received a"Best breakthrough artist-single" for Do-Do's & Whoa-Oh's and "Channel V Oz Artist of the Year" ARIA nominations.[1] The second single from the album was Face Without a Name. United Paper People has recently gone gold in Australia.[2]
