"Kiss from a Rose" is a song from Seal's second eponymous (self titled) album Seal, subsequently featured on the Batman Forever (1995) film soundtrack. It was originally planned to accompany a love scene between Bruce Wayne and the character Chase Meridian but ended up placed at the end of the film.^{[citation needed]}

The single, the second taken from the film soundtrack, topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for one week in August 1995. It won two Grammy Awards, for 'Song Of The Year' and 'Record Of The Year'. It was also nominated for a 1996 MTV Movie Award.

It was rumoured that "Kiss from a Rose" is potentially about the use of cocaine. Some lines such as "...and did you know, that when it snows, my eyes become wide..." and "...the more I get of you the stranger it feels..." may reference the color and effects the drug has. This has been disputed by others, who argue that it is more about the pure love between a man and a woman, similar to the concept of the story of Beauty and the Beast.^{[citation needed]}

With its 3/4 time signature (rather uncommon for a pop song) and its danceable tempo, "Kiss from a Rose" is one of the most popular waltzes written in the 1990s.

Irish vocal trio Triniti and Japanese artist Angela Aki have recorded cover versions of the song.

Two versions of the music video were produced; the original version is set in a photographic studio, while the film promotional version that followed, directed by Batman Forever director Joel Schumacher, has Seal performing the song beside the Bat-Signal, interspersed with clips from the film.
