[edit] Trivia
- When Jack comes to visit Jen, she asks if he wants to go see a movie and picks "...that gay one with Dean Cain. All the reviews are calling it St. Homo's Fire." The double reference refers first to Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy, a film written and directed by series director, Greg Berlanti, featuring a cameo by Kerr Smith (Jack). The second reference is to the 1985 film St. Elmo's Fire.
- Gretchen tells Dawson that one day he will have everything that he ever wants, including the ability to "bag one of the girls at The WB", the network Dawson's Creek appeared on.
- Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a reference to the book, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, a collection of movie reviews by Pauline Kael, a movie reviewer for The New Yorker magazine. Mr. Brooks gives Dawson a copy of the book during the Christmas party.
