[edit] Photos you added to foreskin etc articles

I don't know if you noticed the message I placed on the discussion page but I said: "There is no indication as to the source of the currently posted photos but may I say that they illustrate very well what needs to be illustrated -- and can be difficult to visualise when only described verbally -- and in an entirely non-prurient way. Thanks to the contributer, whoever he or she (or they) may be." I guess you are the contributor. The photos make it clear to persons who haven't seen a real foreskin just what is being discussed. Photos that were previously used fail to do this. Excellent contribution. Masalai 21:07, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

You're entirely welcome. What is the source, if I may ask? I have not previously seen photos that so clearly demonstrate this subject? Masalai 06:39, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

I am not sure what kind of source you are asking for. It is self-made. Thanks, Kirkland1 18:13, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
Ah. That would certainly explain why I haven't seen that photo published previously! You are a brave man! Masalai 00:58, 17 February 2006 (UTC

[edit] Regarding Images:

Kirkland1 - How may I contact you regarding images via email? My email is mikemarineguy@hotmail.com Sincerely, Mike. Thanks.

[edit] Further re: images

Unlike the other person who has made inquiries here, I am not interested in obtaining personal disclosures from you. I would, however, be interested to know the ethnic background of the person in the photo (the inquiry comes from a person of Indian background who was under the impression that all western men are circumcised, till he migrated to Australia and discovered that while circumcision is not uncommon, it is certainly far from universal; among men under the age of, say, 30, it is not even actually the majority). Is the person in the photo of Indian (or Sri Lankan or other South Asian) background? Or perhaps Latin American? Thanks. Do NOT disclose anything you consider an invasion of that person's privacy. Masalai 07:24, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

  • He looks Black... (SOrry but I don't know what else to call it :S.... I don't agree with African-American... It's just misleading). And only USA has high circumcision rates in the west, And those are even dropping... --FlareNUKE 01:24, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Indian friend

Hello Kirkland. I am an Indian (from India!) visitor to this site and my little cousins saw this site and wanted me to talk to you. You are an Indian isn't it? Your penis looks like ours is and we are so interested to say it is OK not to be circumcised! Please say hello. Sam Bne 10:53, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Bagan.png

Hi. Can you explain what this is, and if it belongs in an article? Thanks. Jkelly 02:19, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

I have moved it to Wikimedia Commons as Image:Bagan in Burmese script.png. An editor was incorrectly repeatedly tagging it for speedy deletion here as an orphan. Thanks for the explanation. Jkelly 19:01, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:IMG 0723.jpg listed for deletion

Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
