My name is Kirsty Galloway McLean. I am biological scientist by training, with specialization in medical science, molecular biology and biosafety assessments. I also have a bachelor's degree in cognitive sciences, cross-cultural communication and linguistics and a diploma of journalism.

I am currently working for the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity under the United Nations Environment Programme, and am trying to contribute to building the content of Wikipedia articles relevant to my expertise.
