I am from Kirkham and I cant see why "well-known celebrity and linguist Felicity Long" is mentioned when a) I and no-one I have know has ever heard of such a celebrity and b) Even a google serach (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=%22Felicity+Long%22&btnG=Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB) brings nothing up of any particular relevence.

I appreciate that there is not a great deal of any note to mention about Kirkham, but I am sure that the article could be better then metioning a made-up celebrity. Of course there is always the possibility that I am being ignorant but non the less there are better things that could be written about kirkham. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.92.227.135 (talk • contribs) 23:39, 2 July 2005.

As you see I have done my best to comply with your words above (pity you haven't identified yourself!). I couldn't find her either so have deleted her. If you see this - can you now add anything I may have missed out? Peter Shearan 15:30, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
