Kirsten Verdel (Leiderdorp, January 29, 1978) is a Dutch local politician. She is a member of the Labour Party, and a provincial delegate in the province of South Holland.

A graduate from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, she participated in her party's campaigns on a municipal (Rotterdam) and national level.

After the national elections in 2006 she has been in the news for the unauthorized use of a mailing list of fans of a pop group, for whose website she was an administrator. In an e-mail, signed 'friends of Kirsten", she asked people to vote for her, leaving the impression this was endorsed by the band.
