From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kirkintilloch Rob Roy Football Club is a Scottish football club based in the town of Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire. Nicknamed The Rabs or The Roy, they were formed in 1878. They play at Adamslie Park, a venue that also used to be used for civic functions such as the Kirkintilloch Highland Games (and is still used for car boot sales occasionally), and is considered one of the best non-league grounds in Scotland.

They wear red and black strips (uniforms) and currently compete in the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association where their biggest rivals are Kilsyth Rangers F.C.. The well known footballer, Chic Charnley had a spell playing for The Rabs.
