Kirk Read is the author of How I Learned to Snap, and co-author of Best Gay Erotica 1999.

His work has been in various magazines, mostly his poetry. He currently lives in San Francisco, and was raised in the Reagan-Era South. He is presently touring with the 2007 version of the Sex Workers' Art Show.
