Kirk Brandon (born on 3 August 1956, in Westminster, London) is a British musician.
Kirk Brandon's music career started sometime in 1978, Clapham, South London, with the formation of The Pack, of which he was singer/songwriter.
The Pack consisted of Kirk, alongside Scottish-born drummer Rath Fae Beith and two Canadian brothers, Simon and Jon Werner on guitars.
The last ever live gig by The Pack took place at the 101 club in Clapham, ironically it was completely sold out by the time the band went on stage.
From the embers of The Pack rose the phoenix that was Theatre of Hate, which in turn became Spear of Destiny.
Theatre of Hate had their largest hit from the Westworld album and the single "Do You Believe In The Westworld?", which was a UK Top 40 single in 1982, while the album made the Top 20.
In 2003 Kirk did a solo tour as support to The Alarm on their Poppyfields tour. This included some new material played on an acoustic guitar with electric pick up as well as some material from his time with ToH and SoD.
Boy George wrote of his relationship with Kirk Brandon prompting Brandon to begin a High Court action against George. George, taking the witness stand, faced a "malicious falsehood" charge brought against him by Brandon, now married and a father, who denied that he once had a sexual relationship with George. Brandon lost. During the trial, Boy George had claimed that Kirk Brandon had been the love of his life and that he still loved him.
