Kirk Bewer

Kirk Bewer (born 1970 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian professional drummer. His interest in the instrument began at age twelve when he successfully convinced his mother to pay for music lessons. Bewer came up through the ranks of pop/country drummers in his home city of Winnnipeg before moving to Vancouver to study jazz at Capilano College.

Bewer has many album credits under his belt as a session drummer and has played with The Platters, Burton Cummings, Ralph Rubino, Stephanie Beaumont and many others. He currently lives in Winnipeg and Kelowna, and plays with Canadian country recording artists The Cruzeros.
