Kiril Chukanov

Kiril Borissov Chukanov, a Bulgarian electrical engineer, is the founder of Chukanov Quantum Energy, LLC., formerly known as General Energy International. Dr. Chukanov has conducted numerous experiments with ball lightning and claims to have produced it in the laboratory. He has not published any articles in refereed scientific journals.

Chukanov received his Ph.D. from the Moscow Institute of Civil Engineering in 1977. He has held professorial positions in Bulgaria, Russia, and Algeria. In 1990 he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he continued his study of the field he calls "quantum limitations". A large part of his research and prototype development was done in Sunnyvale, California. In 2006 he left the United States to continue his work at an undisclosed location.
