  • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.

[edit] unique or not

Could you kindly tell us, whether the first names of Thai royals are unique: are any of them a person whose first name is (and has) not been used by anyone else? Is there any other Bhumibol than the king himself? Are there any other Tipangkorn than the little prince? Are there, or have there been, any other Chulalongkorn than the late great king?

The first names (and obviously, also additional and family names) are unique. I'm not sure that the name has not been used by anyone else. But, I think, even there is someone has used the name Bhumibol before the current king, that person is unknown. Also, the fisrt names of the king are usually more complex and not common Thai first name. For example, I have never heard the name Tipangkorn until the little prince was born. So, we can say that the first names of Thai royals are unique. CW32 13:21, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

Do Thai people have usual first names, or are all those different, personal?

Of couse, there are Thai common first names. CW32 13:21, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

Is Sirikit a totally unique first name in Thailand, the queen's only? no one else using it, ever? 217.140.193.123 21:51, 23 August 2005 (UTC)

I'm not sure that no one has never used the name Sirikit before, but I have never heard of other Sirikit. CW32 13:21, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] srirasmi the princess consort

What was Srirasmi's surname, as commoner. I presume it was not Mahidol and it was not Ayuddhia, was it. And, is her first name very common in Thailand? 217.140.193.123 21:46, 23 August 2005 (UTC)

I don't know what it is, as I don't expert in Thai Royal Family. All I could say is her maiden name is not reputable in Thailand, compare to her first name. Also, the high royals' surnames are omitted, so most of them are not quite well-known. CW32 13:04, 29 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:KUS logo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:KUS logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:06, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You are very kind

/jɑːnnɪ/ That looks to be correct, yes.  :) Cricket02 22:13, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Wow! Its beautiful!  :) The legal name is just that, a U.S. legal name, probably to protect his identity but became public knowledge with the minor arrest. I kind of think it is irrelevat and have only kept his birth name in the article. So its up to you if you want to use both names but he is most known by his birth name I think.  :) You are wonderful, thank you so much again! If there is anything I can ever do for you, please let me know.  :) Cricket02 20:57, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
You deserve them!  :) I don't read Thai but I'm sure it is all fine and I think referencing his legal name is perfectly fine.  :) And yes, I like the shorter hair too.  :) Happy day to you! Cricket02 21:11, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
