[edit] Spelling of "Kaffa" in Arabic or other languages

It is suggested that the Arabic word for coffee, qahwah, is derived from the place name Kaffa. Can anybody provide spellings of this place name in Arabic or any other languages? I am interested to know the original sounds in languages used in this place sink Arabic has both a "k" and a "q". Of course Ethiopian languages probably also have both sounds that could well make it into English only as "k". — Hippietrail 11:04, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
