Kinniku Shojyo Tai(筋肉少女帯 also call KING-SHOW) is a Japanese Band. The band name means "Muscle Girls Team" in Japanese. They become very popular in late 80 years through late 90 years.1999 they disband but 2006 they regroup. Also this band is the first Angura Kei band.

[edit] The Independent Years

In 1979 when Vocalist Kenji Otuski and Bassist Yuichiro Uchida were Junior High School students, they started the band called "Dotechins"(This name was from Kenji Otsuki's Junior High School nick name) and this band was a precurosor of Kinniku Shojyo Tai.

In February 1982 after they disband Dotechins and become High School Students, they started a new band "Kinniku Shonen Shojyo Tai". On April 6 the same year, they debuted in the independent music scene, and changed the band name to "Kinniku Shojyo Tai"

In 1986 March, the original Keyboardist Edozo Mishiba joined the band, and this year the band gets a high ability and evaluation.

In 1987 they released the EP call “Takagi Buh Densetsu”(Legend of Takagi Buh) from Nagomu Record (This independent record rebel is owned by Uchoten vocalist Keralino Sandorovich) but this EP cause the big trouble with Takagi Buh’s office and this EP was all recall.

In 1988 they success to deal with TOY'S FACTORY and same year in June they release 1st Album "Buddha L" and 1st single "Shaka".But band member is still not establish. In 1989 Edozou Mishiba left the band and after he left present guitarist Toshiaki Honjyou and Fumihiko Kitsutaka join the band and they release 3rd Album call "Neko No Tebukuro (Cat's glove)". And This year the band member is become establish and member is not become change until they disband in 1999. Also this year band become very popular in Japan.

The band was act smoothly but in July 1998 Drums Akira Ota left the Band after the concert, same year in 1999 Guitarist Fumihiko Kitsutaka left the band for administrative reason, also leader and vocalist Kenji Otsuki left the band to take full responsibility for he make a reason of Fumihiko Kitsutaka left the band. And finally band is disband. After disband Kenji Otuski make the new band call "Tokusatsu", and Fumihiko Kitsutaka join the band call X.Y.Z.→A.

After disband band member had a few misunderstanding but finally most member are reconcile. And in December 28 2006 Kenji Otsuki, Yuichiro Uchida, Toshiaki Honjyou, and Fumihiko Kitsutaka announce the "Kinniku Shojyo Tai will regroup" Right now they are doing many concert in Japan.
