Kingsholm Stadium

Kingsholm Stadium is a rugby union stadium in Gloucester, England, and is the home stadium of Gloucester RFC. The stadium is able to hold 12,500 people.

Kinsgholm is well known amongst rugby fans for its knowledgeable yet partisan supporters and its intimidating atmosphere, and is widely regarded as a superb venue for rugby. Kingsholm was used as a home stadium for England before they settled at Twickenham and also hosted New Zealand versus United States for a pool match in the 1991 Rugby World Cup.

The most passionate supporters can be found in 'the Shed' terrace and are known as 'Shed-heads'. 'The Shed' is synonymous with Kingsholm stadium and Gloucester fans similar to Hill 16 and Croke Park. 'The Shed' also features prominently in Gloucester's advertising with slogans such as, 'can you survive The Shed?'
