Kingscote railway station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kingscote railway station is a railway station on the Bluebell Railway.

It was originally opened as a double track station on the line between Lewes and East Grinstead. It was one of the stations along the route of the Bluebell Railway that was closed by the Branchline committee in the Mid 1950s. But has reopened as a single track with a crossing loop under the Bluebell Railway's longer term plan to reach East Grinstead.
