King George Stakes

The King George Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds run over a distance of 5 furlongs (1,006 metres) at Goodwood Racecourse during the Glorious Goodwood meeting in late July / early August.

It was first run in 1911, and is named after King George V, whose coronation took place that year.
