The King Faisal Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh is JCIA accredited and operates 677 Beds with approximately 8,700 employees. In all there are 63 different nationalities making up the staff. KFSH&RC is a state of the art tertiary medical and research facility serving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the surrounding region. Located in the capital city of Riyadh, the hospital is the national referral center for Oncology, Organ Transplantations, Cardiac Surgery, Genetic Diseases, and more. The Hospital has gained a worldwide reputation for its dedication to advancing medical science and research over the past 29 years and has established collaborative relationships with internationally recognized institutions.

The King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center employs a large number of foreign workers from many countries. These foreign employees have a number of recreational facilities open to them, including swimming pools, tennis courts, a bowling alley and amenities center. In addition, the Employee Social Club & Recreation Services offer a number of recreational courses, exercise programs and trips and a variety of other benefits to the employees. These employees are paid very well for their services.

King Fahd of Saudi Arabia died in King Faisal Specialist hospital in August of 2005.
