King David School, Vancouver
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The King David High School is a Jewish day school and Secondary School located in Vancouver, Canada. The school was formerly known as Maimonides High School, Vancouver Jewish High School and Vancouver Talmud Torah High School. The school began in portable classrooms on Baillie Street, but moved into a purpose-built structure in 2005.
King David fuses the traditions of Judaism, with current Province of British Columbia educational requirements. A small school, it has a warm and welcoming environment, while maintaining above-average educational standards. As a new school, new additions are always being added to its building.
As the school does not contain a gym, students often go to nearby parks, such as Montgomery Park, or the JCC gym for physical education classes.
