Ku Kaeo (Thai: กู่แก้ว) is a minor district (King Amphoe) in the central part of Udon Thani Province, northeastern Thailand.

Neighboring districts are (from the north clockwise) Nong Han, Chai Wan, Si That, Kumphawapi and Prachaksinlapakhom.

The minor district was established on April 30 1 1994 by splitting it from Nong Han district.

The district is subdivided into 4 communes (tambon), which are further subdivided into 37 villages (muban). There are no municipal (thesaban) areas, and 4 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
