King's and Cheshire Regiment

The King's and Cheshire Regiment is a regiment of the British Territorial Army, with HQ in Warrington, Cheshire.
It is currently the territorial battalion of the regular King's Regiment and Cheshire Regiment. The compnanies of the battalion are located in Warrington, Liverpool, Manchester and Crewe (detachment in Northwich).
The King's and Cheshire Regiment will cease to exist under the new infantry structure, with the King's Regiment companies amalgamating with the Lancastrian and Cumbrian Volunteers to form the 4th Battalion (Volunteers), Duke of Lancaster's Regiment (King's Lancashire and Border), and the Cheshire Regiment companies amalgamating with the West Midlands Regiment to form the 4th Battalion (Volunteers), Mercian Regiment.
