Kinetic Destruction

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kinetic Destruction is a hardcore band coming from a rural part of Hessen in Germany in the late 1990s. Not sporting the usual clean cut look of former bands of this genre, the band created its own scene of dedicated fans. The band never released any material and were unknown outside their area.

Most members of the band have started new projects, but never achieved the same recogition as Kinetic Destruction. After being encouraged by Vinnie Stigma of Agnostic Front, Carl Braun (guitar) and Dennis Irjon (vocals) went on to form A New Hope, a shortlived attempt at unifying the scene. "Dirty" Mike Edgar (drums), moved back to Indiana and rejoined his previous thrash metal band Self Abolition. Rob Pangrazzi (bass) has since become a Canadian citizen and an important member of the Toronto hardcore scene.
