Kincade (band)

Kincade, were a British music band that were formed in 1999 and featured Nanette Wood on lead vocals, Dave Bone on guitar, Jon Ballard on bass guitar and Jim Butler on drums. All the members are originally from the town of Crawley in West Sussex.

They were unsigned by a record company, however they have played at some very high profile events, such as the Glastonbury Festival in 1999. In 2005, they won a competition by the ITV regional news, London Tonight, which allowed some unsigned bands to perform and allow the public to vote for the act they would like to perform at the O2 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, London, they performed at the festival on 30th June 2005.

Kincade described their sound as edgy classic rock and received praise from some large bands, including Texas. In 2006 the band disbanded, Nanette Wood has since gone onto become a singing teacher whilst David Bone has joined a new band called Cinnamon Street.
