So logically, if /ɐ/ were on the chart too, it would be in the 6:00 position? Just want someone who knows about it to clarify since Wikipedia is the only place where I can find this chart. 67.10.111.125 06:21, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

I've never heard or seen this before except on Wikipedia. Is it in any scholarly source? If not, it should be deleted. AEuSoes1 17:30, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No Quadrilateral?

This is interesting, though I wonder why the vowel quadrilateral is not used, as it seems a more precise mapping of tongue possitions in making these sounds. Why is there no article on the Vowel Quadrilateral as well? --BlackJar72 01:55, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

...found in the article on English phonology is what I'm getting at, and I find it far more useful, though I don't think this copy covers all sounds for all dialects (and is backward from what I'm use to, though that's relative and a trivial difference). Also, some of the vowels are in a different order than I learned in phonetics (not so trivial); I learned i>I>e>ɛ>æ for the front...? --BlackJar72 02:01, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shouldn't this be an article?

Shouldn't this be an article with a linked graphic rather than the article actually being on the image page? quercus robur 20:53, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
