EyeToy: Kinetic is a fitness video game developed in collaboration with Nike Motionworks. It has been designed to help the player improve their fitness and health using a variety of exercise games. A few of these are demonstrated [1] on GameSpot. The usual workout lasts for twelve weeks (using the PlayStation 2's internal clock) and if the player misses a date the instructor will be angry when the player next comes on. There is both a male and a female instructor in the game, who explain and demonstrate proper technique during the workouts and are designed to have realistic movements for the player to follow. The game comes with a wide-angle lens which sits in front of the EyeToy lens and allows the player to have their whole body on the screen (i.e. appear farther away).
The game's sequel is currently in development, titled EyeToy: Kinetic Combat.
