[edit] SJU Nov 1, 2006 update regarding serving airline issue

Hi Kimmykun.

If you noticed I'm new to Wiki editing. I took the information about Avianca and Mexicana serving SJU from their respective Wikipedia articles (I didn't made up that information). You can go to Avianca & Mexicana's Wiki articles and read the info yourself. Moreover this information is preliminary (they say it was at some press conference that they announced the possible routes and I placed the dates). And I know that, currently, both carriers don't serve SJU. I also did my homework, and just as you say, none of the airline's respective official websites have any information about those routes to SJU. As for the Continental connection with Cape Air, I misunderstood the information, since in their website they clearly state that; they have operations in the Caribbean.

If you need anything from me, don't hesitate to ask. -User:djxixa

[edit] SJU

I have seen that after 3 different attempts to update the San Juan Intl' Airport page, you have deleted the information and/or return to a previously created page. You had written that you would re-organize the page and add the information that I had written but in a more umbiased manner, yet a month has passed and I see the SJU page as devoid of information as before. Any information on this? or do you have a certain vendetta against any new information being uploaded into this page? I believe SJU is one of the most important airports in the region, and it deserves a page as complete and informative as any major US airport. Please update on this, I would hate to update the page again just to see it deleted. -User: m_gonzalez

[edit] TV Market

Hi, I have noticed that in the past you have edited or created a template for a television DMA (market) in North America, or have edited an articles about television stations. Currently their are several different styles of the template being used. Because of this i have set up a workshop to obtain input on setting up a common configuration for these templates. Feel free to assist at Wikipedia:WikiProject Television Stations/markets. Also while you are their, feel free to leave you name as a participant on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Television Stations as well as any comments you might have, to help wikipedia improve articles on television stations. If you know some one else who has helped contribute to these templates or you think would like to help, please pass this mesage on to them. --Boothy443 | trácht ar 22:35, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Insular Television Stations

This might be easier for me to explain if i reply in bullet form:

  1. Why do i link the templates together?

- I find it to be a bit easier for navigation if templates in the same region are at least linked together. the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau are in Free Association with the USA, therfore, they are included, despite being de-facto independent.

  1. Why is UKVI (British Virgin Islands) given a template?

- I doubt it would be fair for the people who live there to not have a template. As well, a LOT of people go there as a tourist resort (same for Aruba, bahamas, and so on).

Those are my reasons, but if you wish to nominate both for deletion, or move them to British Virgin Islands and FS of Micronesia instead, that's fine with me.

[edit] Re: USVI_TV

Thank you for clarifying!

Would it be acceptable for me to split the USVI topic into two parts, one for Charlotte Amalie's stations, and the other for Christiansted/St. Croix's? (I mean much how it is split already with stations from PR and its own stations.)

Should i even merge UKVI_TV with USVI_TV as well?

Will WBNB ever come back on the air? Raccoon Fox 01:09, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orlando

We should probably do something uniform for all the TV station templates, then. I noticed that the "see also"s were added to the Miami and West Palm markets, which made me add it to Tampa and Orlando. We should clear them all out or add them all back. Should there be a discussion opened at the WikiProject for TV Stations? Mike H. That's hot 02:10, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

M_GONZALEZ: ON SJU; Sorry... It appears you corrected an older version before I uploaded my changes, so my changes were deleted. I will take some time to fix the page, go ahead and correct my grammar afterwards. If you see any fact that needs verification or citation let me know. Most of what I added on the SJU page is from local and personal knowledge and hard to verify, but the truth is that the page looks very unprofessional. I hate seeing the disasters list BEFORE the airport's facts. It's important to see the disasters, but not more important than the airport's construction. Again, I apologize.
