[edit] Real birth year

I've added "1978 or 1976" to the DOB info. General consensus is 1978 though--because the North Korean federation was still submitting all different birthdates in 1991 and 1992, and she jumped from 15 to 17 in 91-92. If it were really 1976, they could have left it as such, she would have been 16 in Barcelona and 15 in Indy and all would have been well. What I read is that she was 14 in Barcelona and 11 at the 1989 Worlds, and that seems right based on the photos too. Mademoiselle Sabina 06:26, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photo

Mmmm, thank you! Absolutely unbelieveable for me, that it was possible to find this great high-quality image of such a mysterious gymnast! Now, I should not be surprised, if I know, that the screen cap was created from an interview with her! :) Cmapm 06:08, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

No, just from 91 Worlds...she won bars with a 10.0 score so the camera focused on her quite a bit after her routine. It was easy to take a good cap from that. :) Mademoiselle Sabina 08:03, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
The moment chosen is great! And I haven't ever seen web-downloadable gymnastics videos of such a quality (and have no idea, where I can get them from)! Other caps, uploaded by you recently are excellent too, in particular, I like Chusovitina's cap very much. But this... It's just fantastic! Cmapm 16:39, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Aw, thanks. :) This particular competition was from a friend...I don't know if I'd be allowed to YSI it here, but if so, I'd be happy to send it on. namaste, Mademoiselle Sabina 11:04, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
