Kimber Eclipse Target II

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Kimber Eclipse Target II is a model 1911 based semi automatic pistol chambered in the .45 ACP cartridge. It is one of numerous models that Kimber makes. The series II designation indicates that the pistol has an internal firing pin block safety that is disengaged by depressing the grip safety. The Eclipse Target II has an external extractor, in contrast to older Kimber models, which had an internal extractor. It has adjustable night sights, bi-tone stainless/black finish, lightweight trigger, commander style hammer, and a beavertail grip safety. Decorative features include checkering on front and back straps, and rear and forward cocking serrations on the slide.
