Kim Sigler

Kimber Cornellus Sigler, commonly known as Kim Sigler, (May 2, 1894 – November 30, 1953) was an American politician. He served as a Republican governor of Michigan from 1947 to 1949.
Sigler was born in Schuyler, Nebraska. He defeated former governor Murray Van Wagoner in the 1946 general election. Sigler lost to Soapy Williams in 1948.
He got his Private Pilot certificate in 1947. He was killed in 1953 when his plane struck a television broadcasting tower near Augusta, Michigan on a foggy night.
