Kilmory Castle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kilmory Castle is located just to the south of Lochgilphead, Scotland. It is occupied by the head office of Argyll and Bute Council.
The castle is said to be haunted by the ghost of a 'Green Lady'. Kilmory is known for its gardens, first laid out in the early 18th century and extended by William Hooker in 1830. While the castle is private, the gardens and woodlands are open to the public.
