Kilmicheal as told by anonymous Kilmicheal is a small rural community in the backside of macroom town. Kiklmicheal is famous for its two pubs, one shop, pitch, farmers and brendan cotter.
Star Attractions The main attractions of the kilmicheal area is our pride and glory.........the field. Yes the field quiet the attraction it stands alone as a pillar of our local tourist income.
Recent endeavours to restore the field A small local fund has been set up to hopefully remove dangerous obstacles from the limestone ridden land,items include syringes to plastic forks. However planning permission has been granted to a local shopping centre mongul, who intends to use the land for Irelands second IKEA store.
