Killwhitneydead is the name of an American Deathgrind band that makes extensive use of samples in their music. A common misconception of this band is that they are from Arizona. In truth, they hail from Greensboro, NC. Matt Rudzinski (Who owns Tribunal records and fronts Killwhitneydead along with Trevor) stated himself that he started Killwhitneydead in Greensboro, but started rumors that they travelled from Arizona because they committed atrocites so horrid that they had to leave. He made this lie because he believed that if people had known he fronted the band, they would think that they had automatically been signed to Tribunal, since he owns it. After their second album, this changed and they then became a live band, instead of just a studio band. They are characterized by their mixture of blast beats, traditional metal riffs, hardcore "chugging" style guitars, and death metal singing. All of their songs include at least one audio sample (usually from a popular movie), integrated as part of the lyrics.
Killwhitneydead's lyrics may often sound mysogonistic, but this is a common mistake that people make. Matt stated on the DVD that he has no hatred for women. He writes what he feels at the time and leaves it at that. All of his lyrics are about anger and revenge, not the hatred of women.
