Killingworth is a small town in a rural area of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales, Australia. It is near the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway, not far from West Wallsend.

Coal mining was performed at Killingworth from 1841 until the Great Depression, and again during World War II. A public school operated from 1891-1892 and 1902-1941.
